About Us

How we started.....

This whole idea fired up at the end of last year when I decided that I wanted to do a long haul drive. I had heard about the Gum-ball rally and was wondering if there was a cheaper option. then I stumbled across www.motoscape-rally.co.uk. It was perfect! something long distance but with plenty of help and advice to get me started. As I was looking through the website getting more excited about the possibilities and the places that I could go I found that you could do all of this, which I was dying to do, and raise some cash for a good cause too! It was a jackpot. I knew I had to do it. I rushed into work the next day to tell a couple of guys about it. everyone was very excited and we all started getting carried away. (we could have a managers team and a girls team and this and that!) but after everyone calmed down we narrowed down to 1 team and 3 colleagues. And so the team was born Scott Wilson, Darren Reid and Lewis Millar. (Darren cant drive by the way. He's just coming along for a laugh).

We chose our charities carefully. ASDA is a major supporter of Tickled Pink and Everyman. these fantastic charities do some phenomenal work raising money to help research into the cancers and hopefully finding a cure. We chose Cash for Kids too as it is a great charity that works tirelessly to help those kids that just don't have much in their lives. Whether it be through sickness or underprivileged. this charity works to give them a better and brighter future.

We will be setting up a just giving account in the very near future so please when we post it to twitter and facebook and on here, even if you don't donate yourselves, pass it on. its for a great cause.

As we go through this experience i hope to be able to update you all on the ups and down of the journey from fundraising to sponsors to the journey itself, and of course any unforeseen hiccups that will inevitably appear.
We are aiming to raise in excess of £10,000  for these fantastic causes and so if you have any suggestions or ideas please feel free to email me at scott88491@gmail.com or just leave me a comment on here. Otherwise i hope you stick around and follow us as we entertain you all for the next few months.

Thank you all in advance for your support.

Happy browsing!
